A lot of recommendations of things to do, places to stay, travel tips and sites to see have been rolling in from all over — even from some unexpected places! These have been great and a good recommendation goes a long way with helping to set-up our plans. Also, we had some great safety tips for traveling in Ecuador. As for the contacts, these are very helpful, too. We’re amassing a call sheet of people who live in each of the countries we’re visiting. This is an exciting list thus far and we’d love your help with contacting people who live(d) overseas or are familiar with the countries on out itinerary. In addition to on-the-ground recommendations, we’re interested in having someone to call in case of an emergency. We have a famly friend who lived in the far east for many years. If you want I can get her email and pass it along if you’re looking for tips on the area.

Also, I don’t mean this to be funny, but have you considered talking to Nayan about India? He has famliy there, and I beleive he may be going there with familiy at somepoint in ‘09.
